SNEAK PEEK! Issue 7 of Missfits Magazine includes a photo editorial by co-editor Maddie Maschger called SUMMER SKIN: “The goal of the shoot was to celebrate real teenagers. We wanted to include a summer shoot that went beyond unnaturally posed, airbrushed models in bikinis, so we asked a few of our friends to take part in this project. We’re still shooting, but these are a few photographs from our first session. We wanted to include a variety of body types, and I think the coolest part was watching our friends overcome their own insecurities. A lot of them were hesitant when we asked them to model in their swimsuits, but by the end of the evening, everyone seemed very comfortable with themselves.” Issue 7 will be released on Wednesday, June 20th.
